The Program

Martial Arts
Martial Arts at The Dojo offers students a comprehensive program that teaches both grappling and striking techniques, providing a well-rounded foundation in self-defense. Through Martial Arts, students develop physical strength, coordination, and agility, while also learning the importance of self-discipline, respect, and responsibility. Training in grappling and striking builds confidence as students master techniques and overcome challenges, helping them build resilience and self-assurance. Our Martial Arts program is designed not only to enhance physical skills but also to instill valuable life lessons, fostering character, focus, and a strong sense of inner strength that students carry with them beyond the mat.

Chess
Chess at The Dojo offers students a unique opportunity to develop critical thinking, patience, and strategic skills that benefit them both on and off the board. Learning chess strengthens problem-solving abilities, encourages focus, and teaches students the importance of planning ahead. As they practice, they gain resilience through handling both wins and losses, fostering a growth mindset and emotional maturity. Our chess program is designed to ignite a passion for strategic thinking, providing a fun and engaging way for students to build confidence, discipline, and valuable life skills they can apply in many areas throughout their lives.

Yoga
Practicing yoga enhances children’s flexibility, balance, and strength while building body awareness and coordination. Beyond the physical benefits, yoga promotes mindfulness and relaxation, helping children manage stress, improve focus, and develop emotional resilience. Through breathing exercises and poses, they learn techniques to calm their minds, build confidence, and foster a sense of inner peace—skills they can carry throughout life regardless of religious affiliation. Our program integrates yoga to help children grow strong, focused, and self-assured.
